MX7RAM Floor type with quill

Inklusiv

MX floor type boring-milling machines are distinguished for having central headstock in the column.

The innovating "box in the box" concept, introduced by JUARISTI in this type of machines with a symmetric column and completely closed centered headstock, has established a tendency followed by other manufacturers.

This feature is a key factor to guarantee a good mechanical and thermal behaviour in all machine structure, with regard to the cutting forces and thermal dilatations.

Guiding of the headstock in the column is carried out by 2 front guides + 2 rear guides, completing a very rigid and compact assembly. In the same way the RAM is guided by 4 guides.

As usual in all JUARISTI machines all estructural components are made of oversized and heavily ribbed cast iron, designed and calculated by Finite Element Method.

The headstock is provided with a hydro-mechanical system for baricentric compensation, automatically adjusted depending on the RAM position, ensuring the perfect geometry on the spindle-RAM without any electronic compensation.

There are 2 families within the MX series : milling machines MX and boring machines MX RAM.

MX7RAM unlike the milling machines, has the RAM hydrostatically guided on the 4 sides and is made of nodular alloied high resistance cast iron, hardened and ground.

Hydrostatic guiding gets a superb vibrations absortion and allows working almost at 100% of power in very unfavourable conditions, when full RAM is out.

In order to balance the bending of the RAM due to its own weight when is out, there is another automatic compensation system that keeps the RAM perfectly straight and horizontal all the time regardless Z axis position.

The transmission from main motor to the spindle has an important reduction that means a high torque and great chip removal capacity.

A wide range of milling and facing heads, rotary tables, etc, can be attached in order to obtain a great flexibility and improve the machine performance by minimizing the non-productive time due to handeling of components and change of accessories.

Change of accessories can be done in automatic mode by means of "pick-up" magazines with up to 6 positions. These magazines can be fixed to the floor or optionally with moving base or completely detachable in order to avoid entering in the working area.
